Ontario Water Well Fracturing was built on the belief that good work, done honestly, creates relationships that last.

Since our early days serving rural communities and drilling professionals across Ontario, our focus has remained simple: help wells perform better and ensure families, farms, and businesses have dependable access to water. What began as a specialized service grew steadily through trust, word of mouth, and a reputation for showing up when people needed reliable solutions. We proudly collaborate with over 25 drillers across the province exclusively which is a reflection of the partnerships we've built.

As a family-run operation, we understand that reputation isn’t developed overnight. Many of the drilling companies and homeowners who worked with us years ago still rely on us today — a reflection of consistent service, technical knowledge, and respect for the work we do. We know that behind every well is a household, a farm, or a business depending on it. That responsibility guides how we work and why we take pride in doing the job right.

Our Story

The company was founded in 1992 by Melvin Hughson and his son Troy Hughson, who were pioneers in the industry for Ontario, they saw a growing need for dependable well-fracturing services across the province. From the beginning, their goal was to provide practical, effective solutions backed by honest advice and dependable workmanship.

Following Melvin’s passing in 2009, Troy continued the business, carrying forward the same values the company was built on — integrity, reliability, and long-term relationships with both drilling professionals and homeowners. Our history reflects continuous service, not a sum of individual careers.

Over the years, equipment and techniques have advanced, but the principles behind our work have remained unchanged: understand each well carefully, communicate clearly, and deliver results that stand the test of time.

Troy continues to be a member of the Ontario Ground Water Association for over 25 years and is a past serving director on the board. He is still actively involved in supporting their efforts throughout the province.
